I have freaking waited 3 days already how patient do you think I am! :P

hehe, sometimes real-life gets in the way ;)

we won't implement the main-menu simplification immediately, but it's on the todolist.

we're currently working on shader experiments (see
http://www.iris2.de/index.php/Iris-Ogre_Development)

and on finishing a codeclean/restructuring branch (nicknamed knut) and merging it back to trunk.

Know what you mean... used 12 hours today coding on my RunUO shard :P

everything on the shard is still in development though.. But, I guess one more week of coding will make it good enough for a opening in other words 2-3 weeks from now...

Got a full custom resource list, 5 Races, 5 classes gonna add sub-classes as I make a couple of custom spellbooks...

About every mobile is custom... Well I can go on... used a good while on the shard now...

To bad the shard dosent look that good in Iris but looks really good in uo2d :P

If you want to use Iris on your Shard someday, you should fix all 2D issues (like wrong Z-level aso.).

Yeah but I don't want to overstress you by screaming at you guys because my shard is opened but my 2d looks totaly weird and iris client still got 2d frames here and there :P

anyways if you need some shard to show off iris on I guess we can fix something for you :twisted: ... But, I guess its still to early since still tons of deco and tiles that needs to be redone to 3d...

ohh and keep us updated with what you guys are doing and how things are going :P

Shure. Always take a look at our Dev. Blog & http://zwischenwelt.org/trac/iris/.

If you have skilled Artists, they can help us creating the rest of the 3D Models (that are now displayed as 2D Billboards). Use the static-debugmode (debugmenu and press F1) or go Ingame and go with your mouse over a fallback and press f10 (show dev tool).

you can get the latest development news here :

and you can get the latest iris version if you set the updater to unstable, but if you encounter problems with it you can change back to stable.

i don't like getting whipped ;)
what exacly are you waiting for most ?
a prioritized wishlist might help us decide where to concentrate our development efforts.
