This idea may be very difficult to implement, but it does not mean it is not worth to mention it.

What about, while playing Iris on windowed mode, to be possible to grab the interaction windows (I don't know the rcorrect name, those GUI objects that you can grab around the game window, like paperdolls and open backpacks) out of the game window? As if those objects were independent windows on the desktop. Not only those objects could be affected, but anything that is not the main game view, like popup menus and those boxes with information about the items.

What do you think about the idea?

I personally prefer fullscreen anyway so I do not see a need for it.

that's not possible, they might be 2d, but they are rendered directly by the gfx-card very similar to the 3d-world, they can only exist inside the render-window.

Jep, not possible.

Maybe it's possible to add a normal external gui window when in window mode. But why?
