What do you think about Iris and Kingdom Reborn? Are there some plans to make iris possible to be used with kr client?

No plans. sorry.

We don't have the time to support/bugfix 3 renderers.

We plan to make the 2d renderer working again (currently the 2d renderer don't work in "unstable").
