If we get a journal window, Gump buttons functional and
macro list in game we should be able to use Iris 2.0 full-time on our shard.

what's wrong with the gump buttons exactly ?

i don't have so much experience with uo as sience, could you describe macro lists a bit, please ?
e.g. how do you edit them (ingame or texteditor), what are they used for, and how do you trigger the macros (ctrl-f-keys ?)

With Gump Buttons i think he mean Spellbuttons. But tell us more, because nothing must look the same as UO does. We can enhance everything.

Some kind of Quickbar is quite important i think or at lease the possibility to "pull" the spells out of the books just like in the 2d client

Macros are to make hotkeys... now lets say you are in game... and you want an hotkey for [admin or [tele you now say that ALT+D are gonna Say [admin or [tele

Now every time you press alt d it will automatically say [admin or [tele making it so that you dont have to type it down all the time...

Macros can also be used for alot of other things... like Using last item, Casting spells, Equiping and unequiping one arm and so on and so forth.

hmm.. Actually it works with my race and class gumps... But, not with my custom spell book gump...

And there seem to be a problem double clicking items out on the map..

Aight.. to make explenations...

I got an new custom spellbook and to use it people need to either click the buttons or use the commands (this is where the macro option comes handy). But, I cant seem to click the buttons as nothing happends.. I guess the buttons are under the gump or something even though it visible show the buttons on the gump. And I got no problem using it in UO2d.

Now, I also got this "Refreashing Fountain" that players can double click to get healed, more mana and stamina. Now, if I double click it in UO2d it works perfect.. In Iris 2 nothing happends... I have tried to double left click like 200 times, double right click, tapping the buttons in a none logical system. But, to my great avail nothing happend.

file patch can be gotten trough ConnectUO though... in worst case just page and me or my staff will drag you around to show you as there will be statics you can't see...

Oh and last thing... some of the custom npcs dosent react when I say Hire

But, when I do that in UO 2d they will say their price and whatelse...


NB. This might be something I have done that is retarded. As my shard is getting closer and closer to 100% custom... Anyways I would like some insight on this as I am planing to use Iris 2.0 as standard client when its covers our needs.
