I find its really choppy and I crash a lot, is this normal as its still in development? Or could it be something I have configured wrong? I can hardly walk, and after a while I just crash. If I try to go 2D it crashes also. From what I see good work though, and I'm really looking forward to the point where this client is fully playable. Theres a few issues I noticed though, I'm sure they're known issues but thought I'd mention: - Some of the 3D models "move" depending on camera angle but they should stay put and keep their origin angle/position. - Have to type in shard ip/port each time, would be nice if it saved the last 5 or something. I'd also recommend removing UO gamers, I find when clients put it as default people just go there, and it removes from the other free servers. Just my 2 cents. Also what client version does iris compare to in terms of packets? Since theres been quite a lot of packet changes in past year and maybe I'm just trying to play on a shard thats more ahead in client version. My shard is 6.0.5.0, any lower wont work. so maybe why I'm having trouble. |

@Red Squirrel: Please read our FAQ or the Install Guide, for your shard configuration. http://www.iris2.de/index.php/Installat ... figuration If you use "unstable" it crashes often, because we are developing on this. So maybe you get a "non-crashing" checkout of unstable ...or you better use "stable". Code: If I try to go 2D it crashes also.
2D renderer doesn't work anymore until...far future. Iris supports all packages until "6.0.1.6" and maybe more. Just test. |

Yeah found that file, works great. I'm using 6.0.5.0 so maybe thats the source of my issues. 6.0.1.6 to 6.0.5.0 introduced lot of packet changes so it could be why. (My shard is optimized for 6.0.5.0) |
