you should have like an patch url or whatever where the server can like add in an link to a txt or whatever for the iris2 to download and update the mul files needed to play...
Something like ConnectUO..
Ex:
http://patch.starofchaos.com/Patchlist.txt
would then make the client download and unpack the rar file:
http://patch.starofchaos.com/Frozen.rar
that way players would only have to think about having uo and iris installed on their computer and can easily move between shards...
That and you should have like shard top list thingie where people can vote bla bla bla... well you should just kick in some connectuo into Iris 2
makes it easier for players to use it as a main client
