Post subject:  Map Renderer

Hi! I use MapRenderer from Iris Developer Framework and it sometimes renders statics with the same altitude in a wrong order. The trees are always in front of their leaves, the floor under the walls is visible etc.
Does anyone know how to deal with this in some better way than manually moving statics (1,1,11)?

not sure what maprenderer you mean, but for 2d take a look at

110 function CalcSortBonus (artid,tx,ty,zloc,fIndexRel,bonusadd)
in
lua/lib.2d.spriteblock.lua

I'm sorry, my bad. I mean the utility Map Renderer. The latest version can be only obtained from Iris Developer Framework package, however.

The webpage is very old, but the development continues (continued?), because in IDF there is a new version. So I thought posting here would be better. I'll try the e-mail, too, thanks.

Tensor wrote this MapRenderer years ago. I think you have to fix this yourself. You can download the latest code from the berlios svn repository.
