Hi!

I read article Ultima Files. I am not sure, but I think Iris2 needs more files. I looked inside file lua/lib.uoanim.lua. It use more uo-files. For example: anim2.idx, anim2.mul, anim3.idx, anim3.mul, anim4.idx, anim4.mul, anim5.idx, anim5.mul, animinfo.mul, Body.def, Bodyconv.def. Maybe somthing else?

Thanks. 8)

Ah yes.

Iris2 needs this files for the normal UO 2D (legacy) mode.

we'd recommend installing the recent uo version downloadable from the uo.com website free of charge (trial, but unlimited use on freeshards), rather than just individual files

I downloaded ML 2D client (setup-1.46.0.3.exe),then I updated it to version 7.0.8 and then I copied some files to other directory. Is it wrong way? 8)
Code:

animdata.mul  Cliloc.enu    intloc00.enu   Intloc01.kor  INTLOC06.KOR  map5.mul      staidx2.mul   texidx.mul
anim.idx      Cliloc.esp    Intloc00.esp   Intloc02.cht  INTLOC10.CHT  multi.idx     staidx3.mul   texmaps.mul
animinfo.mul  Cliloc.fra    Intloc00.fra   Intloc02.deu  INTLOC10.ENU  multi.mul     staidx4.mul   tiledata.mul

Additional question: two files was metioned in the article - "Iris2\Data\xml\Maps.xml" and "Iris2\Data\xml\Maps_pre6.xm". Is it still useful?

No i dont think so. They where removed.

Special Map files are configured in \trunk\config\shards\*.xml Files.

here is an extract how it looks like:

zwischenwelt.xml
<table>
<string key="gLoginname"></string>
<boolean key="gPolServer">false</boolean>
<number key="gServerSeed">4294967295</number>
<number key="gLoginServerPort">2593</number>
<string key="gPassword"></string>
<string key="gLoginServerIP">zwischenwelt.org</string>
<string key="gCustomArtFilterFile">iris.filter.lua</string>
<table key="gMaps" keytype="string">
<table key="0" keytype="number">
<string key="name">Trammel</string>
<number key="mapwidth">768</number>
<number key="mapheight">512</number>
<string key="skybox">cleansky</string>
<number key="fog_r">228</number>
<number key="fog_g">208</number>
<number key="fog_b">166</number>
<string key="mapfilename">_iris_online/map0.mul</string>
<string key="staidxfilename">_iris_online/staidx0.mul</string>
<string key="staticfilename">_iris_online/statics0.mul</string>
</table>
</table>
</table>

iris.filter.lua is a special tile filter file for a shard.
gMaps is where you can configure special Maps for your Shard.

Maybe. But the most important thing is Iris2 uses them or doesn't do it. 8)

As long as i can see in our code:

/lua/lib.diff.lua
"-- INCOMPLETE ! no server known where this is actually used, so implementation stopped for now".
