Hi,

Iris2 load .grn model and i'm writing a UO3D models viewer in C# and i'm not very fine with C/C++ to read iris source code.

Can u give me a document about .grn file format ?

Thanks.

Sorry but *.grn is undocumented. Its commercial from RAD Game Tools.

There already exists a Grannyviewer included in our Iris1 Dev. Framework (a bit outdated):
http://prdownload.berlios.de/iris/Iris_ ... rk-0.4.zip

or checkout the latest Grannyviewer Sourcecode from:

http://svn.berlios.de/svnroot/repos/iri ... nnyViewer/

http://developer.berlios.de/svn/?group_id=2777

I hope this helps you.

Why do you want to code another Grannyviewer, when there already exists one ???

You can also view all animations and grannys using the Debugmode of Iris2 !!

Sorry but i find this useless and a waste of time.

Better write an Import/Export tool.

our granny loader is kind of uo-specific as we don't have documentation for the format.
the interesting files are in include/*granny* and src/*granny*

Thanks you i will try a port to C# or use code as a lib.

You r right there is already a granny viewer but it's a personal project to use/learn MOGRE.
I understand when u say "useless and a waste of time." it would be better to write code for iris2 but i'm too bad with C++. i've only some basic knowledge with lua (Wow addon) and don't really like doing lua, One day maybe.

What about an Import Export tool? Maybe you can build it in :) .

Good luck.
