http://www.ogre3d.org/wiki/index.php/MeshMagick

there is a source of this project:
https://ogreaddons.svn.sourceforge.net/ ... meshmagick

simple mesh editing(resize, scale, transform etc.) if you add this to iris2 the granny overrides will be more functional.

Yeah meshmagick is nice, but its overpowered. Maybe only some functions should be included like skeleton scaling aso.

it's just a simple commandline app that gives access to functions ogre has anyway.
What transform besides scaling would be interesting ?
Rotating and mirroring the existing granny models doesn't really make sense imho.

Hm it make sense, in case of some models are wrong rotated as you can see in our Debug Mode.

it would be interesting i think. Some Freeshard owners want to add some boss to game like that :) for example: Really Big Daemon Boss would be interesting :)

and Quaqmare, True harrower( Bog Thing ), Sphinx Models Are Tooo Big To See :)

Yep scaling would be interesting for grannys. Big Boss Monsters or smaller monster or even to scale all Granny Models to a smaler size, just because it looks weird that grannys model are nearly the same size as normal walls (20).

Scaling of granny equipment would also be very nice.

Maybe we can do it that way, that granny equipment is scaled to the correct size for an scaled character.

Otherwise we have to manually scale the granny character and manually define a copied, scaled equipment (id) this for a character.

I made some new aditions to our Filter definition.

should i update iris to use this filters sience ? :)

This would be good.

We have three of this filters already.

Code:
filter.art.lua
filter.granny.lua
filter.map.lua

First you should improve the GrannyFilter with scaling/rotation parameters, but it's maybe too difficult to handle this properly.

Ghouly what you think?

there's already some code for scaling i think, but it doesn't use the filter params yet, would be cool if you could add that =)

Maybe some kind of offset (at least in z-direction) would be nice. I noticed some feet sticking in the ground some time ago ;)
