Hello! Sory for my bad english.
I have the same question as that of the topic starter. Do you plan to support unicode? I will show the administrator of the new game server, and my players are complaining that the Russian letters are replaced by question marks or unreadable character set. I tried to solve the problem of supporting the Russian language itself, but I could not do it. I look forward to your reply, thanks.

heya,

some progress was made in the meantime,
e.g. text in gumps and other should work,
but chat input is still making trouble if i remember correctly.

All Iris development is currently on halt, not sure when/if it will resume, sorry.

Clearly, thanks for the reply. We will try to fix it yourself. If we get to do it, I will write the decision.
