How Can I Override Weapon Models ?

I Found Some Good Models For Weapons:

What Will I Do ? I Don't have Any information about 3d Modelling but i used milkshape 3d for my Hlaf Life Mod :) to replacing .mdl models.

weapons are from handled similar to the character models, since they are also loaded from the uo models/ dir

maybe you can find a way to override them with this :
http://iris2.de/index.php/CharacterModelOverride

they might have to have specially named bones to place them in the hand during anim, but i'm not sure =(

search for iPrimaryHandItem
in lua/lib.bodygfx.lua

(looks like only the character hand bone must have a special name)

You only need to rotate your weapon the right way.

which direction should i rotate my weapon model ? :)

and how can i get weapon granny id ?

Into the correct direction ;-).

Take a look at the File "\UO\Models\Models.txt". It's the #Body id.
