It's really not about whether we can do Normal Maps or not, I just don't see it fit and a large waste of time if we did them.
Normal Maps don't always solve everything.

It depends on the choosen style. For Fantasy-Style with some minimal Comic look (Diablo) it would look no-good. But for an Semi-Realistic Style like Oblivion it would look ok. But as ghouly said, you are the artist  !

Maybe in the future I'll slap on some soft Normal Maps and Specular Maps, but we'll see. ------------- I didn't do much tonight, just got off of work and I'm tired.. Texture was done by my better half. ^^  Tomorrow I'll have a lot of time to work on more art, to next Thursday. =] |

Wow, that looks great, keep up the work! @the developers: Dou you include the new models right away so i'll be able so see them in the next stable release? |
