Hi everyone. I'm trying to do a shard with iris 2 so I want to know a lot of this client that will be the main of my server.
Playing a bit on my own local sphere server with UO_ML 6.0.1. Iris 2 version stable from today (15 january/2010). Bugs I've found:

Start playing.
Try to move the camera with mouse wheel button.
Don't work, until you do a step (I think until you click with right button).

2º (It is fixed?)
Sphere creates a creature c_horse_tan (normal horse).
Reproduces the sound of horse.
Crashes (2d and 3d).

Start playing.
Corpses around seems to be alive (they are standing instead of on the floor).
I move the corpse (I'm administrator) to the floor and then is fixed.

I use the command .add that should show a menu of some useful things to create.
Crashes (2d and 3d).
I attached a stacktrace.log here to read it.

Another bug:

Say "hola"
or also
Say "hi"

You'll see "hi?" or "holan" or something like that (btw only "hi" or "holan" is sended to server).

Words I've tested:

"wiki" -> "wikim"
"hi" -> "hi?" or "hiA"
"house" -> "house?k"

As long as i can remember, this is a bug in sphere. Sphere does no real unicode and adds two chars to the end of every chatline.
I can't remember why.
Sphere is evil ;)

What Sphere version do you use?

If it works in the original client, i'd say it's iris at fault.
It's not pretty that runuo can correct it if iris sends incorrect data, and sphere cannot, but to say that it's a sphere bug if it works for the original client is a bit weird.

sphere has lots of bugs!and lots of versions.thats why i asked the version.
maybe its a combination of client and server bug.i don't think runuo does filter or correct something of an iris2 bug.

Sorry for my delay responding. I'm usign sphere 56b September 20 2009, 20:24 (http://prerelease.sphere.torfo.org/buil ... -Win32.zip). Maybe the error of last char could be for the unicode of sphere, but with other clients works. And that bug doesn't affect always, only with some words.

Btw there is more errors than chat one. For instance .add menu, or some guis that makes crash.

I would like to help. I know c++, also I know lua. I think lua help api on wiki is so poor. I needed to do a dump of functions to make a macro xD with:

Code:
for i,v in pairs(_G) do
    print(tostring(i).." as type "..type(v))
end

PD: I'm working on windows xp 32 bit
