Did iris create a directory c:\Documents and Settings\Mert Sahin\Application Data\.iris\config ?
Iris could not create/copy the config file in this directory. Perhaps its missing or the access rights are wrong.

you could try to create the directory "c:\Documents and Settings\Mert Sahin\Application Data\.iris\config" and run iris again.

Try NOT to use Windows Explorer to create a ".iris" (with dot) directory! Windows Explorer don't let you do this (dont know why).

Use Total Commander or FreeCommander.

If this don't work, create an empty File called: DONT_USE_HOME_DIR in the Iris2/ Folder. This forces Iris2 to save the config data in Iris2\config and not in you UserHome.

for example:
Code:
.../Iris2/DONT_USE_HOME_DIR

Config-Data is then stored in:
Code:
.../Iris2/config

and not in in your UserHome:
Quote:
c:\Documents and Settings\Mert Sahin\Application Data\.iris\

I hope this helps.

?

Whats not working?

1. Creating a .iris directory yourself or

2. Creating a DONT_USE_HOME_DIR file?

Sorry but no one has/had this problem. Your Windows could be misconfigurated.
Tell me your Specs. Windows Version, Service Pack, etc.

Also try the newest Iris version. 64bit is untested and not supported!
