Iris2 is a greatest uo client so far, I have been waitting for this for a long time. I tried to install it and logined my shard yestoday, really great!! thanks for your amazing job!!.. However it is a pity to find it doesn't suppurt chinese language, cant type chinese to chat, cant display the chinese names of npcs、monsters and players correctly.... well, maybe western language is mainstream in the world, your team dont reallize there are a lot of chinese people who love UO too. so...could you do anything on this client, so that chinese players can use this client? thanks again! and sorry for my poor English! |

hi ! we're working on it =) Our new gui system already supports unicode, but some parts of the code still have to be adjusted to really use that. Might take a while, but it's coming =) |

Thanks for your reply!UO is one of the greatest game, but it is not very popular in China now, the main reason is the language poleblem. many years ago UO came to China, some people really loved it, but the other people knew little about English, it was a big obstacle for them to play UO. so I think a chinese version Iris2 is really Necessary. I hope it'possible. I am chinese, for a chinese version Iris2, I can do some translating work! if you need my help, just reply me here, I'll try my best to do something! |

Hi, yes you can translate the Readme file in the root iris folder. Would be good to build an chinese installer. |
