Hi guys..i'm a new user of IRIS 2. I've follow the project long time ago and now i've decide to use that client for my ultima online shard. Where's the problem? Well when I try to login at my shard (Launch Iris --->Add Shard ----> And I'm insert the login and the server port, my username and password--->Try to connect---->Error Connect to shard (number ip) failed.) In localhost work perfect..Where's the problem? Why can't I log in my shard? The proceedings is correct? Someone of us can post me the tutorial for add and use my shard with IRIS? PS: I'm using the uo client patched up 6.0.1. My shard have a custom map and script and using runuo2.0 FINAL. Plz help me ç_ç and sory for my bad english ...i'm italian =) |

hi and welcome, can you connect to your shard with the original client ? if not : probably firewall, proxy, etc problem it might also be a shard-config problem, iris doesn't support encryption, so the server needs to "allow unencrypted clients". (maybe you can see this connection attempt being rejected in the server logs) i hope that helps a bit, good luck! if you find out how to configure that "allow unencrypted clients" , please post here how exactly. |
