Does iris support UOML client version 7.0.8.2?

last i tested successfully was 7.0.7.1 i think.
so unless they made some network protocol changes it should work.
Beware that you need an old client install for 3d character models, the newer uo versions don't have the data needed by iris anymore.
See http://iris2.de right hand side for links to working installers.

Using the latest installer from official uo website -> no 3d character model data, missing visuals in iris 3d mode, not recommended.
Using and old installer and patching up to the latest version -> 3d character model data needed by iris is still there. That's the recommended option =)

I have the ML installer from this site (1.0.0.0) and I've patched it to 5.6 where it ceases patching. I think this is causing my RUNUO server map files (being pulled from 6.0.8.0 9th edition) to be out of sync with my IRIS map files.

How do I tell IRIS to use my 6.0.8.0 9th edition files instead of the ML 5.6 map files?

continue patching, you should be able to get further than 5.* with the uoml install linked on http://iris2.de to the right.

when you first start iris it asks you where your uo folder is, iris uses the map-files in that folder, so if they are the correct version, it should work.
if you want to reset that delete the iris config folder :

Ah... FYI anyone else with this prob...

uopatch.exe won't patch all the way up to date (for me)
run uotd.exe instead
