So, I just bought a second hand laptop. 2.0 ghz CPU, 64 mb radeon mobility 7500 video card and 256 mb ram. Do you think it'll be enough to run the new Iris2?

should be sufficient if you don't mind not having highest gfx-quality settings.

i develop mainly on a 1.5 ghz laptop with 512 mb ram, and some cheap-powersavy-gfx card which doesn't even support shaders,
it runs ok (ca 10 fps in full city with lots of objects and far cam dist, around 25 fps in the woods) , and in the current code we still haven't optimised many things yet, so performance will still grow.

if you can, you might install another ram chip to get 512 in total,
should improve performance, but i think 256 will be enough to play,
iris2 is not as memory hungry as the old one.

if you have performance issues, please try direct3d as well as opengl, currently the only way to reconfigure graphic options is to delete the bin/ogre.cfg, we'll try and make that option screen available from ingame soon =)
