>>WARNING : HandlePackets -> forced Crash

This means, the server sends an non-standard package. What server-emu uses your shard? Sphere, Pol, RunUO?

If which client version (pre 6.x, or 6.0+) is supported?

hi ! if you have problems on a specific server, please tell us which server.

if you just want to try on any server i'd suggest the preconfigured "vetus-mundus" server from the mainmenu, as we test on that mostly.

there's also an offline mode in the mainmenu to look at the world without connecting to any server.

It seems your sever sends a packet with unknow packetsize (0xE3) and Iris2 need to know the size.

So, what is this packet 0xE3 for?

Maybe as the message says: "iris does not support encrypted connections, so the server/shard has to 'allow u
nencrypted clients'"

Disable encryption on your POL server.

A possible solution is to set gPolServer to true in your shard config xml file.

<boolean key="gPolServer">true</boolean>

-> howto

all the same!no work!

uoclient.cfg

Code:
# Protocol
# {
#   # EnableFlowControlPackets: use the 0x33 (0x00 / 0x01) pause/restart packets.
#   # Though OSI seems to no longer send these packets, they seem to help with smoothness,
#   # particularly with boat movement.
#   # NOTE: causes clients 4.0.0e and newer to fail login
#   EnableFlowControlPackets    1
# }
#
# Listener
# {
#   Port (int port number 1024..65535)
#   Encryption (string encryption type)
# }
#
# Explanation:
# The Protocol and Listener sections are optional.
# Each Listener section allows you to listen for different client encryption types on different ports.
# This means you can listen for "1.26.4" clients on port 5003 and "ignition" clients on port 5555.
# Valid encryption types are found in the pol.cfg section. If you use Listeners set ListenPort
# in pol.cfg to 0.

Protocol Protocol
{
   EnableFlowControlPackets   0
}

Listener
{
   Port      5003
   Encryption   none
        AOSResistances  0
}

config.xml

Code:
<table>
    <table key="globals">
        <boolean key="gUseCaelumSkysystem">true</boolean>
        <boolean key="gUseDistanceFog">true</boolean>
        <boolean key="gEnableBloomShader">true</boolean>
        <boolean key="gUseWaterShader">true</boolean>
        <boolean key="gUseEffect">true</boolean>
        <boolean key="gUseMusic">false</boolean>
        <boolean key="gAlwaysRun">true</boolean>
        <boolean key="gPreloadStaticMesh">true</boolean>
        <boolean key="gPolServer">true</boolean>
    </table>
</table>

uopacket.cfg

{
Length   0x3E

}

It seems Iris2 does not know the packetsize of e3 packet or the size is incorrect.

"Packet with unknown Packetsize received : 227 0xe3 remaining size:
77 dynsize 77
"

Disable this spacket on Pol ?!

packet 0x3e is: KR Encryption Response
http://docs.polserver.com/packets/index.php?Packet=0xE3

Iris2 does not support KR. So disable this in Pol.
